How we collect, use and protect personal information, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect
Names, business email addresses and phone numbers of client contacts; business details such as company name, registration and VAT numbers and billing address; the briefs, files and messages you submit; records of approvals, invoices and payments; and technical information needed to keep the service secure, such as sign-in times and IP addresses.
We do not store payment-card numbers or card security codes.
Why we use it
To provide the BrandCare service under our agreement with your business, respond to enquiries, send service notifications, issue invoices, keep accurate records, and protect the platform against misuse.
Who we share it with
Our hosting and email providers, which process information on our behalf, and — only where you ask us to coordinate them — printers or other suppliers who need the files to do their work. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
For as long as your membership is active and afterwards for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes. Files you delete are removed from storage.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email info@sowetographics.co.za. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
Security
Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, files are kept in private storage and only released to authorised users, and access to records is limited by role.
